ALBUROTO
WEIGH OF LIFE
In the words of the artist:
Colors only pop when they are set against deep shadows, just as the most vibrant highlights of our lives are enhanced by the dark times we go through.
Because of this, it becomes easier to accept my fate!
I realize that life is simply better when you balance the opposites.
Artery Art Space is pleased to present “Weigh of Life” by Alburoto, a show of ironic gravitas held as counterweight to the lows of life, playing the attraction between opposites in creating a curious oversight of fact and form, and altogether showing the shortsightedness of the beautiful ideal vis-a-vis the humility of the real, where this imbalance forms a situational comedy set with Alburoto’s trademark cheeky humor.
