I am particularly interested in the beauty and progression of observable patterns found in nature. I am drawn and find inspiration in physics, biology, the esoteric, Eastern philosophy, symbols, and various spiritual beliefs.”
Danna Espinosa graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 2019. She has been exhibiting since 2017, featuring a unique style of organic abstraction composed of elegant and mesmerizing designs gleaned from an unseen yet encompassing universe.
Espinosa looks up to the works of Pacita Abad, Agnes Arellano, Nena Saguil, and Georgia O’Keefe as main inspirations, while Hilma af Klint, Anna Zemankova, Solange Knopf and Josefa Tolra are current influences.
